Hotel Bella Vista Zermatt

During our 12-day travel in Switzerland, Hotel Bella Vista stood out as one of the best hotels we stayed at. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent breakfast, with its table service and made-to-order eggs. The homemade cookies in the lobby were a delightful treat. The family-owned hotel boasted a great view of the Matterhorn from the outside deck. Our suite, which had direct access to the garden, provided an unblocked and breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. The comfortable and stylish room, along with the friendly staff, added to a memorable stay. The hotel also offered a welcome gift of home-baked pastries, which was a lovely touch.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the train station, making it easy for us to arrive and depart. it was in close proximity to the ski lift, allowing us quick access to the gondola station and the Gornergrat bahn station. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice, large bathroom. The staff provided excellent service, offering helpful recommendations and a personalized touch with the welcome cookies. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of options, including homemade products and fresh fruit bread. The view from our room was breathtaking, with a clear sight of the Matterhorn. The hotel also had an amazing spa with relaxation rooms and saunas, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

The hotel was situated on a steep hill, which might pose a challenge for individuals with limited mobility or those using a wheelchair.

This charming hotel is conveniently located near both the Matterhorn Express gondola and the Sunnega funicular, making it a great choice for skiing enthusiasts. Guests can easily access the mountains for a day of skiing and then return to the hotel's cozy rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel also offers excellent service, a tasty breakfast, and beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. Guests can relax in the spa after a long day on the slopes, and the staff is always ready to assist with any requests.

The only downside is that the hotel is a bit of a walk downhill from the town center, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the fine view from our room balcony. It was amazing and added a romantic touch to our stay. the breakfast offered at the hotel was excellent. We loved the variety of fresh and local produce, as well as the option to request omelettes or fried eggs. The location of the hotel was also perfect for us as it was close to the center of town and convenient for exploring Zermatt.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was incredible. We couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were for such a lovely stay. Secondly, the attention to detail was outstanding. From the personalized touches in the room to the little extras provided, it was clear that the hotel takes pride in making guests feel special. Lastly, the location of the hotel on the hill was perfect. We had a fabulous view of the Matterhorn from our bed, and we loved having direct access to the garden.

No improvements needed, everything was perfect.
